Two weeks ago my school and I went to the Aotea Centre. First we went to watch the dancers do creative dancing. Then a man was spinning a thing that looks like a necklace. The dancers also performed a haka for us.
Next, I used an iPad to look at the digital birds in the bird house. We had to find the bird houses around us. Then we went to the screening room and quietly sat on the floor. A lady dialled a number then we blew onto the phone speaker and a persons hair on the screen was blown away.
After that we went to the Herald theatre to watch a show about Electricity. The main characters were Rima and Koru. Our final activity was a made up story called the cheetah that wanted to be king. The lion king made the cheetah the Prime minister of New Zealand.
I enjoyed the trip very much!!!
