Why do we have bins at school when we can take our rubbish home?

We shouldn’t have rubbish bins at our school!

We should take our rubbish back home because we can make compost which will help our garden to grow. Compost can be very expensive to buy from the garden centre.

We should take our rubbish with us back home so we can recycle or reuse the products that we throw away so that we can have a sustainable environment , for example we can reuse most of the plastic items that you throw away, plastic bottles, plastic containers and so on.
You can reuse ziplock bags that you use to put your sandwiches in them to put your other sandwich in them. You can also reuse some items for projects or you can make a present out of those materials for someone.

In conclusion, we should take our rubbish home because when we put our rubbish in the rubbish bins, it might blow away, animals might take it out of the bin and eat it and get sick and cause some creatures to starve to death. It also causes a lot of pollution which would make our school environment very unhealthy and filthy, thus making us sick. These are all the reasons that I believe we shouldn’t have bins at our school.

Learning Intention: We are learning to follow the structure of a persuasive writing.
Success Criteria: I know I can do this when I explain why we shouldn't have bins in our school grounds.
